LARGE KHORASAN BRONZE EWER.
Ca. AD 1000 - 1200.
A bronze ewer with a cylindrical waisted body, a rounded underside, a broad sloping shoulder, a tall narrow neck, and a broad everted rim. A strap handle rises from the shoulder and is decorated with incised foliate motifs. The shoulder is encircled by a lightly engraved band.
