MOSAIC PANEL WITH ARCHITECTURAL SCENE.
. A framed mosaic panel composed of ancient tesserae, depicting a dense architectural facade with towers, arched windows, gabled roofs, stairways, and doorways. The buildings are arranged in tiers across a white tessellated ground, with red, yellow, pink, blue, green, grey, and black tesserae used for the masonry, roofs, borders, and window details. A standing figure appears beneath an arch at the lower left. Reconstructed from Ancient tessare Size: 720mm x 780mm; Weight: g Provenance: Private London Collection, acquired on the Austrian Art Market; Ex Austrian Private Collection; Ex.
