Description
LARGE ANATOLIAN TERRACOTTA JAR WITH QUADRUPEDS.
Ca. 1500 BC.
A large terracotta jar with a globular body and a short neck culminating in an everted rim. The exterior is covered in a red-brown slip. A band of intersecting motifs encircles the shoulder, and three roundels decorate the body, each enclosing a stylised quadruped within a dotted border.
