COLLECTION OF NEO-ASSYRIAN FAIENCE POLYCHROME VESSELS.
Ca. 850 - 612 BC.
A collection of four faience vessels, including, from top left to right: a small jar with a globular body and a short neck beneath a rolled rim, painted on the shoulder with a band of petal motifs; a glazed beaker with a flaring mouth and a rounded base; a globular jar with a short neck and a rolled rim, the surface with pale slip and traces of greenish glaze; and an ovoid jar with a broad neck and a rolled rim, a pointed base, and small pierced lugs at the shoulder.
