GANDHARA STUCCO STANDING BUDDHA.
Ca. AD 400 - 500.
A Gandhara stucco sculpture of the Buddha with detailed carved drapery, shown with a calm expression, downcast eyes beneath arched brows, a straight nose, and closed lips. The hair is arranged in wavy striations swept back from the forehead and gathered into a central topknot. The ears are elongated with long pendant lobes.
