PAIR OF CHINESE TERRACOTTA FIGURES OF A MALE OFFICIAL AND A FEMALE MUSICIAN.
Northern Wei dynasty, Ca. AD 386 - 534, and Tang dynasty, Ca. AD 618 - 907.
A pair of terracotta figures, from left to right: a Northern Wei male official standing in a long robe with the hands folded beneath the drapery at the chest; and a female musician seated with her legs tucked beneath her, wearing a long robe over green sleeves and holding a pipa across her lap.
