LARGE EGYPTIAN BRECCIA STONE JAR Old Kingdom, Ca. 2640 - 2200 BC. A breccia stone jar with an ovoid body tapering to a narrow foot and a short neck. The mouth has a broad everted rim with a rounded edge. Two pierced lug handles are set high on the shoulders, each rounded and projecting from the body.
