GREEK BRONZE CAULDRON WITH GRIFFIN PROTOMES Ca. 700 - 600 BC.
A bronze cauldron with a deep rounded bowl and a plain upright rim. Four griffin protomes project at regular intervals around the exterior, each with a long curved neck, an open hooked beak, large almond-shaped eyes, protruding ears and a high crest.
