STUNNING SCYTHIAN BRONZE HELMET Ca. 500 BC. A hammered bronze helmet with a rounded skull, a straight lower band, and a frontal cut-out with shallow eye openings divided by a pointed finial. A central groove runs over the crown, with the lower band encircling the base. The skull is decorated with raised vertical ribs enclosing panels of oblique incised lines in a herringbone arrangement.
