EARLY GREEK BRONZE DAGGER WITH LUNAR POMMEL Ca. 1400 - 1200 BC.
A bronze dagger with a long tapering blade with a low central rib, narrowing to a sharp point. The grip is encircled by narrow collars and decorated with bands of herringbone ornament. The hilt terminates in a lunate pommel.

Provenance: UK Private Collection; Ex. Bodo Bruno Bernhard Ble§ collection, Germany, 2000s-2010s; Rosemary and George Lois collection, USA, 1970s-2000s, acquired in US art gallery in 1970s.
