BRONZE AGE / EARLY GREEK PERIOD BRONZE SWORD Ca. 1200 - 900 BC. A bronze sword with a long tapering blade and a narrow point. A central rib runs along the blade, with fine recessed fullers extending from the shoulder area. The guard is rounded and compact, set above a straight grip. The hilt terminates in a cap-shaped pommel. Size: 505mm x 50mm; Weight: 480g Provenance: Private London collection; formerly in M. Ebnother collection, Switzerland, 1980s. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
