RARE BRONZE AGE DAGGER WITH OPENWORK HANDLE Ca. 1200 - 800 BC.
A bronze dagger with a long fullered blade narrowing to a sharp point. The hilt is cast with an openwork grip pierced with two rows of rectangular openings and an upper row of circular perforations, and terminates in a wooden pommel of rounded outline. For similar see: The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Object Number: 66.31.2.
