ROMAN STONE RELIEF PANEL OF YOUNG DIONYSUS Ca. AD 1 - 200. A stone relief panel with the head of young Dionysus. His youthful face is carved with full cheeks, heavy-lidded eyes, a broad nose, small lips and a rounded chin. Long wavy tresses descend from the temples. A wreath of vine leaves and abundant clusters of grapes crowns the head, with further foliage extending to either side. Accompanied by a modern custom-made display stand.
