LARGE ROMAN BRONZE FIGURINE OF HERCULES Ca. AD 1 - 200. A large bronze figurine of Hercules standing with the weight set on the left leg, the torso bare and the lower body draped in a mantle. The head has short curling hair, heavy brows, a moustache, and a full beard. The right arm is lowered at the side, with the hand clenched. The left arm is bent and enveloped in the mantle, its folds falling in deep vertical pleats across the body and down the side. For similar see: The British Museum, Museum number 1834,0801.1.
