MASSIVE CYCLADIC MARBLE HEAD OF IDOL Ca. 2500 BC (or later).
A marble head of an idol with an elongated oval face, plain except for a long projecting nose carved as a narrow triangular ridge descending from the brow. The chin is rounded and full, above a thick cylindrical neck. For similar see: The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Object Number: L.2022.38.47.
