RARE INDUS VALLEY BRONZE JAR WITH ANIMAL FRIEZES Ca. 3000 - 2000 BC.
A bronze jar with a short cylindrical neck and broad globular body on a flattened base. The shoulder is encircled by a diagonal hatched band beneath a row of stylised animals. The main body is decorated in relief with a frieze of larger animals. A second hatched band encircles the lower body.
