A pair of sarcophagus eyes, each with an elongated almond-shaped bronze frame enclosing a white stone sclera and blue lapis lazuli iris. For similar see: Museo archeologico di Firenze, inv. 2419ab. Size: 25-25mm x 90-90mm; Weight: 55g Provenance: Private UK collection; previously part of an Oxfordshire ancient art collection; acquired from a Canadian collection formed between the 1970s and 2000.
