EGYPTIAN NAQADA POLISHED CERAMIC JAR Predynastic Period, Ca. 4000 - 3000 BC.
A polished ceramic jar with a broad globular body tapering to a narrow base. Short rounded shoulders lead to a low cylindrical neck. The mouth has an everted rim with a rounded edge. For similar see: Christie's, Live Auction 7207, Antiquities, Lot 32.
