RARE CYPRIOT BRONZE MODEL OF RIDER ON HORSE Ca. 400 BC.
A bronze model of a rider on horseback, cast with the horse facing forward and the head raised. The animal has a short muzzle, pointed ears, and a ridged mane. The rider sits upright on the back, with both arms extended towards the neck and the legs bent along the horse's sides. The figure wears a tall pointed headdress. For similar see: V. Karageorghis, J.
