EARLY BYZANTINE SILVER CHALICE WITH TRIANGULAR MOTIFS Ca. AD 500 - 700.
A silver chalice with a deep rounded bowl, a slightly everted rim and horizontal ribs encircling the midsection. The upper zone is decorated with punched triangular motifs. A tall cylindrical stem with a lentoid knop bordered by beading terminates in a spreading circular foot.
