COLLECTION OF GREEK TERRACOTTA ALABASTRA Ca. 300 - 100 BC. A collection of three terracotta alabastra, including: two slender vessels of similar type, each with a long cylindrical body, rounded base, narrow neck, everted rim, and opposed lug handles at the shoulder; and a larger alabastron with an elongated ovoid body tapering to a slightly pointed base, a short neck, and broad everted rim. Size: 150-185mm x 45-60mm; Weight: 665g Provenance: Private London collection; previously in a South German private collection formed on the European art market during the 1980sÐ1990s.
