PAIR OF CYPRIOT TERRACOTTA VESSELS Ca. 750 - 500 BC.
A pair of terracotta vessels, including, from left to right: a jug with a globular body, flattened base, funnel-shaped neck, plain mouth and a loop handle joining the shoulder to the neck; and a squat jar with a rounded body, ring foot, broad cylindrical neck and everted rim, decorated with incised herringbone bands around the shoulder and lower body, with alternating vertical incised panels and rows of protrusions. A pair of pierced lug handles projects from the shoulder.
