PAIR OF CYPRIOT TERRACOTTA JUGS Ca. 500 BC.
A pair of large terracotta jugs, each with a piriform body, short cylindrical neck and flaring mouth. A thick arched handle joins the shoulder to the rim. Both are plain, with an orange slip over the exterior.
Size: 260-280mm x 140-160mm; Weight: 1.5kg
Provenance: From a private UK collection; earlier purchased on the London art market before 2000.
