APULIAN RED-FIGURE SQUAT LEKYTHOS WITH STANDING WOMAN Ca. 350 BC.
A red-figure squat lekythos with an ovoid body, ring foot, tall narrow neck, flaring mouth, and side loop handle. The front depicts a standing woman in profile, draped in a long chiton, holding a mirror in her right hand. Scrolling tendrils fill the side fields, with an ovolo band below the figure. For similar see: The British Museum, Museum number 1867,0508.1184.

Provenance: Private London collection; previously in an Austrian private collection dating to the 1980sÐearly 1990s.
