PAIR OF GREEK GNATHIAN POTTERY SKYPHOI Ca. 325 - 275 BC.
A pair of skyphoi, each with a deep body, twin horizontal handles, a short foot, and a plain rim. The example on the left has a ribbed lower body below bands of added white, ochre, and red ornament. The example on the right is decorated with bands of grapevine, dotted and tongue ornament. For similar see: The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Object Number: 1971.11.2.
