COLLECTION OF CYPRIOT ARCHAIC TERRACOTTA JUGS Ca. 750 - 500 BC. A collection of three terracotta jugs, including, from left to right: a pale buff jug with a globular body, a funnel-shaped neck and an arched handle joining the shoulder to the rim; a dark-fired jug with a spherical body, a neck with two moulded rings and a mouth with an upturned spout; and a terracotta jug with a bulbous body, a tall cylindrical neck, a plain mouth and a vertical handle joining the shoulder to the neck. Size: 210-230mm x 130-140mm; Weight: 1.7kg Provenance: From a private UK collection; earlier purchased on the London art market before 2000.
