LARGE CYPRIOT TERRACOTTA GLOBULAR JUG Ca. 750 - 500 BC.
A large terracotta jug with a broad, rounded body tapering to a flat base, a short neck and a flaring mouth. A thick arched handle joins the shoulder to the neck. The body is plain, with an orange slip over the exterior.
Size: 290mm x 210mm; Weight: 1.6kg
Provenance: From a private UK collection; earlier purchased on the London art market before 2000.
