LARGE CYPRIOT TERRACOTTA JUG Ca. 750 - 500 BC.
A large terracotta jug with a piriform body, a short cylindrical neck and a flaring mouth. A thick arched handle joins the shoulder to the rim. The body is plain, with an orange slip over the exterior.
Size: 300mm x 170mm; Weight: 1.2kg
Provenance: From a private UK collection; earlier purchased on the London art market before 2000.
