LARGE EASTERN GREEK BRONZE GOBLET WITH SATYR-HEAD HANDLES Ca. 400 - 200 BC. A large bronze goblet with a tall flaring bowl, cylindrical lower wall, and high stem on a spreading foot. A pair of horizontal handles is set at the rim, each attachment cast as a satyr head with prominent ears and clustered locks framing the face. Size: 185mm x 270mm; Weight: 955g Provenance: Private UK collection; formerly H.G. collection; acquired from A. Kotllar, Paris, French art market, 1970Ð2006.
