CELTIC BRONZE SOCKETED AXE HEAD Ca. 900 - 700 BC.
A cast bronze socketed axe with a rectangular body expanding towards a broad cutting edge. The sides are slightly concave, with a thickened rim around the socket. For similar see: The British Museum, Museum number 1900,1112.20.
