LARGE COLLECTION OF ROMAN GLASS UNGUENTARIA Ca. AD 1 - 300. A collection of eight glass unguentaria, including, from left to right: a tall pale blue glass flask with a pear-shaped body, long neck, and everted rim; two pale glass flasks with globular bodies and tall cylindrical necks; a slender blue glass unguentarium with a tapered body; four further narrow unguentaria with elongated bodies and flared mouths. Size: 10-145mm x 20-45mm; Weight: 210g Provenance: From a private London collection; earlier present on the French art market in the 1980s.
