LARGE COLLECTION OF ROMAN GLASS UNGUENTARIA Ca. AD 1 - 300. A collection of 10 glass unguentaria, including, from left to right: a pale blue-green glass flask with a globular body, short neck, and everted rim; a slender pale glass unguentarium with a bulbous lower body; three taller examples with elongated pear-shaped bodies and narrow cylindrical necks; two blue glass unguentaria, each with a rounded body and long neck; and three further narrow unguentaria with elongated bodies, tapering necks, and folded rims. Size: 85-155mm x 30-70mm; Weight: 320g Provenance: From a private London collection; earlier present on the French art market in the 1980s.
