Description
INDIAN SILVER MASK Ca. AD 1700 - 1800.
A silver mask framed by a broad beaded border and surmounted by a repousse crown decorated with scrolling motifs and raised bosses. The rounded face has large almond-shaped eyes beneath arched brows, a long straight nose and a small pursed mouth, with a central foliate ornament set on the forehead. Accompanied by a modern custom-made display stand.
