COLLECTION OF ARAMAIC TERRACOTTA DEVIL TRAP BOWLS Ca. AD 600 - 800.
A collection of three terracotta incantation bowls, including, from left to right: a deep bowl with rounded sides, a ring foot, and a dense Aramaic inscription written in black in radiating registers across the interior; a shallow bowl with rounded sides, a plain exterior, a central circular field enclosing a schematic figure, and an inscription encircling it in regular lines; and a broad shallow bowl with bands of writing following the inner wall.
