Description
LA TENE IRON OIL LAMP WITH ANIMAL-SHAPED HANDLE Ca. 700 - 500 BC.
An iron oil lamp with a shallow rounded reservoir and tapering pinched nozzle. The rear is fitted with an arched handle in the shape of a stylised horned animal, with a long curving neck, tapering head, and a pair of backward curving horns. Two loops are set to either side of the handle.
