BACTRIAN CHLORITE BOWL Ca. 3000 - 2500 BC. A chlorite bowl with a cylindrical body, thick everted rim, deep plain interior, and flat circular base. The exterior is carved with four horizontal registers of closely spaced square motifs, separated by narrow plain borders. Size: 45mm x 80mm; Weight: 160g Provenance: Private UK collection; formerly part of the H.G. collection; acquired from the French market, A. Kotllar, Paris, 1970Ð2006.
