GROUP OF CHIENSE ORNAMENTS Ca. 19th century AD or later. A group of four Chinese ornaments of varying materials and forms. The group comprises two carved jade ornaments, each pierced and worked in relief with auspicious and archaistic motifs; a circular ceramic ornament decorated with a moulded stylised design; and a small gilt-bronze ornament cast in the form of a mythical dragon-fish, its body dynamically modelled with scrolling and zoomorphic details. Size: 55-85mm x 55-85mm; Weight: 355g Provenance: Private London collection; previously acquired from a Belgian collection (1980s-1990s).
