CHINESE HAN DYNASTY TERRACOTTA JAR - TL TESTED Ca. 202 BC - AD 220.
A large terracotta jar with a globular body, rounded shoulder, short cylindrical neck, and flat everted rim. Multiple horizontal bands encircle the upper body. It stands on three short moulded legs with animal-mask terminals.

Provenance: Private UK collection; acquired in London in the early 2000s; formerly with the Verite collection, Paris, France, formed in the 1970s.
