CAUCASIAN STEEL DAGGER (KINDJAL) WITH LEATHER SCABBARD Ca. 1330H (AD 1911). A steel dagger commonly referred to as a kindjal. Whilst the bone handle is of a type commonly found in the Caucasus, the blade bears an Arabic makers mark. As such, this item is testament to cultural exchange and trading relationships in the region during the period. Size: 500mm x 60mm; Weight: 500g Provenance: Private English collection.
