PAIR OF EGYPTIAN GOLD CAT AMULETS.
Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A pair of gold cat amulets, each modelled seated on a rectangular base with the forelegs together, and the tail curled at the side. A suspension loop rises behind the head. Size: 13-13mm x 10-11mm; Weight: 8.3g Provenance: From a London private collection; earlier part of a New York collection formed during the 1980s. This item has been checked against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
