Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A rare openwork gold pendant with two confronted cobras flanking a central stem on a flat base, with a suspension loop above. For similar see: The British Museum, Museum number EA16518. Size: 34mm x 27mm; Weight: 6.6g Provenance: Private London collection; acquired in Germany; previously in the S.T. collection, Switzerland, 1980s–2000s. This item has been checked against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
