GRAECO-BACTRIAN GOLD, CARNELIAN AND AGATE NECKLACE.
Ca. 300 BC.
A necklace with a strand of carnelian beads, interspersed with banded agate barrel-shaped spacers with gold collars, gold spherical beads, and tapering agate drops, centred by a carved agate pendant with twin leaf-shaped sections below small gold loops. A gold hook clasp fastens at the back.
