SUPERB HELLENISTIC GOLD RING WITH CARNELIAN INTAGLIO OF ARTEMIS. Ca. 300 - 100 BC. A gold ring with a broad carinated hoop and a tall oval bezel set with a carnelian intaglio engraved with a standing Artemis, her left arm raised and her right lowered to hold a long staff entwined by a serpent.
