HELLENISTIC GOLD RING WITH CARNELIAN INTAGLIO OF A BULL.

A gold ring with a broad hoop expanding to an oval bezel set with a carnelian intaglio engraved with a bull lowering its head and forelegs, with a curved tail above and a groundline below.

Provenance: From a private London collection; earlier held in an old family collection formed over the period 1960s–2000.
