PHOENICIAN GOLD PENDANT OF MUT. Ca. 600 - 400 BC. A gold pendant of Mut standing on an integral flat base, wearing a tripartite wig and a long close-fitting sheath dress, with her arms held close to her sides. She wears the Double Crown of Upper and Lower Egypt. A suspension loop is attached at the back. For similar see: The British Museum, Museum number EA23426, EA59872. Size: 33mm x 6mm; Weight: 4.4g Provenance: Private London collection; ex private family collection, established mid-20th century and continued until 2000.
