A gold ring with a round-section hoop and a circular bezel with a broad raised collar above a conical bezel cell, set with a circular amethyst intaglio engraved with the profile head of a satyr with flowing hair and beard. Size: D:19.15mm / US: 9 1/4 / UK: S; Weight: 6.5g Provenance: Private London collection; previously from a Belgian collection formed during the 1980s–1990s.
