A gold ring with a broad flat-section polygonal hoop and a flat rectangular bezel with an octagonal plate in low relief with the head of Alexander the Great depicted as Herakles in left profile, the lion skin over the head and tied around the neck. Size: D:15.49mm / US: 4 3/4 / UK: J; Weight: 12.7g Provenance: Private London collection; formerly with F.A., Brussels; from a Belgian collection assembled between the early 1970s and early 1990s.
