A gold ring with a slender hoop expanding to a large, oval bezel set with a carnelian intaglio engraved with an erotic scene showing two nude figures reclining on a draped couch. For a similar scene, see: The British Museum, Museum number 1999,0426.1. Size: D:17.12mm / US: 6 3/4 / UK: N; Weight: 12g Provenance: Private London collection; previously in an Austrian private collection dating to the 1980s–early 1990s.
