ROMAN GOLD RING WITH CARNELIAN INTAGLIO OF AN EROTIC SCENE.

A gold ring with a tapering hoop and an oval bezel set with a carnelian intaglio engraved with an erotic scene of a couple beneath drapery, the female figure on all fours with her back to a kneeling male figure, both on a couch with balustered legs and hanging tassels below.
