ROMAN GLASS PHALLIC AMULET. Ca. 200 BC - AD 100. A rod-formed glass phallic amulet in dark green with pale green streaks, pierced through the shaft for suspension. The tip is in red glass and rimmed by an applied red thread. Two applied eyes in opaque yellow and red are set above the testicles. Size: 40mm x 25mm; Weight: 10g Provenance: Private UK collection; From an old British collection formed in the 1990s.
